The challenges launched by the new coronavirus crisis will be the main theme of the sixth edition of the “Brazil Conference at Harvard & MIT” (https://www.brazilconference.org/en/home), an event organized annually by the Brazilian student community in Boston (USA) to promote the meeting with the leaders of Brazil .

For the first time, due to the restrictions imposed by the coronavirus, the event will take place by videoconference and will be broadcast on the Youtube channel of the newspaper “O Estado de São Paulo”.

This year, the online panels will run from April 22nd through early May. Among the participants, in addition to the main exponents of Brazilian entrepreneurship and politics, the presence of Michael Kremer, Nobel prize winner for economics 2019, is expected.

The topics discussed will be five: economic development, the role of the state, entrepreneurship and startups, inequality and foreign policy.
